Nearly 40% of Filipinos use buy now, pay later services

According to a survey by fintech company UnaCash, nearly 40% of Filipino respondents said they use buy now, pay later platforms for budget planning and management.
"Our survey results highlight Filipinos' ability to manage their finances and good spending habits," said Erwin Ocampo, head of product at UnaCash.
Among the respondents who are familiar with buy now, pay later, 38% said they are likely to use the buy now, pay later service monthly, 29% plan to use it at least once every six months, and 26% plan to use it once a year.
