TikTok Shop Has More Than 2 Million Sellers in the Philippines

TikTok Shop stated at the recent 2024 Philippines Summit that TikTok Shop's business in the Philippines has achieved significant growth.
Live broadcast and short video views increased 1.5 times compared to the first quarter of 2023, resulting in a 9-fold increase in GMV purchased through ShopTab compared to the second quarter of 2023.
In addition, compared with non-super brand days, the GMV of super brand days in 2024 increased by more than 250%, and the number of sellers in TikTok Shop Mall increased by more than 120% compared with November 2023.
Adaptive channels across categories including electronics, fashion, lifestyle and FMCG also saw significant growth compared to Q1 2023.
Jonah Ople, head of fashion category at TikTok Shop, said: "More than 2 million local businesses, the majority of which are small and medium-sized enterprises, are registered on TikTok Shop."
