Over 40,000 Indonesian Sellers Were Audited And 80 Million Illegal Products Were Removed

According to Tokopedia's data, throughout 2023, Tokopedia has removed more than 80 million products that infringed on intellectual property rights and/or came from stores that violated the platform's terms.
At the same time, Tokopedia also reviewed more than 43,000 sellers, 1.7 times more than in 2022.
Anom, Director of Investigations and Dispute Resolution at the General Directorate of Intellectual Property of the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights, added that DJKI has taken a number of measures ranging from prevention, improvement to curbing intellectual property (KI) infringements. DJKI also regularly responds to public complaints with the KI Working Group.
"We will also invite the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education and Culture to join the KI working group through a cooperation agreement," Anom said.
